Couple chase robbers for 2km, ram suspects' motorcycle

Описание: A couple in Johor Baru took matters into their own hands after being targeted in a late‑night armed robbery.

The victims, aged 18 and 19, were approached in their car by two men who threatened them with a taser‑like device before fleeing with two iPhones and a wallet.

Refusing to let the thieves escape, the young waiter pursued the suspects on a motorcycle for nearly two kilometres through the streets of Bandar Jaya Putra.

The high‑stakes chase ended when the victim rammed his car into the motorcycle during a U‑turn, causing the suspects to skid and abandon their vehicle.

Although the stolen items were valued at seven thousand ringgit, both suspects managed to flee the scene on foot and remain at large.

Police are investigating the incident as an armed gang robbery and have launched a manhunt to track down the two individuals involved.
