Free Hyosung GT250 muffler modification (Loud Motorbike Exhaust) How To Video

Описание: Hey guys and galls! This video is my first upload for HowToNick, it is a walkthrough of the modification to the muffler on my Hyosung GT250 to make the bike sound a bit louder and more aggressive. (FOR FREE!) Hyosung GT250 muffler modification (Loud motorbike Exhaust) How to Video!

First I tried drilling through the front section of the muffler and putting a large hole through the centre of the baffling. It didn't improve the sound much at all! I found that drilling into the rear housing of the muffler and making 4 holes improved the sound and note of the muffler.

When carrying out this modification you just need an electric drill and some drill bits. I would suggest drilling four smaller holes (approx 4mm diameter) and starting the bike. Then slowly increase the size of the holes until about 8mm in diameter, checking the sound of the exhaust after each size increase. If the muffler is still too quiet then it's time to drill a couple more holes in between the 4 you've already drilled. Just take your time and listen to the exhaust between size increases, better to have it quieter and then ride it around and realise you want it louder than to drill the holes and realise its too loud!

I was looking to gain a little extra sound and aggressiveness from the standard exhaust without buying an aftermarket muffler. I think this modification works really well. At this point i have drilled only 4 holes and I plan on riding around for a week and monitoring the sound and possibly drilling a few more holes. Good way to get a louder sounding exhaust note without spending hundreds of dollars!

This modification might not be legal in some places, check your state's laws regarding noise levels and exhaust modifications regarding motorbikes. Carry out this modification at your own risk. (don't blame me if you bugger it up or u get a fine haha)
