Canon T4i vs Pentax K-30. Battle of the older Entry Level Contenders.

Описание: So, the Pentax K-30 or the Canon T4i. Both came out in 2012, both are entry level cameras. But which one is the better option? Well, the Canon spells things out for you on the rear screen regarding the mode dial so you know what each mode actually does and what it's for. The Pentax? Not so much.

AF, well, it's a toss up to be honest. On the one hand, the T4i with the EF-s 50-250 has lightning fast continuous AF but ONLY if there's a defined visible outline of the subject. If the subject is too far out of focus, the Canon gives up and just won't focus at all (won't even try to drive the lens).
The Pentax will drive the lens no matter how far in or out of focus the subject is. Now, at the time that these cameras came out, there was no Pentax PLM lens so the focus was slower, however, if PLM was available, they would be very close to each other for focus speed.

Ergonomics? The Pentax wins hands down, same with build quality and feel.
