MATES Visa: ​​​MATES is a temporary mobility pathway for Indian graduates and early career professionals with knowledge and skills in targeted fields of study to live and work in Australia for up to 2 years. Eligible fields of study include renewable energy, mining, engineering, information and communications technology, artificial intelligence, financial technology and agricultural technology.

The department will grant up to 3,000 Subclass 403 MATES stream visas each year. Indian nationals interested in applying will be selected through a pre-application ballot.


Required Documents for MATES visa Application

1. Identity Documents

Passport
PAN card

2. Educational Documents

Degree/PG certificate
Transcripts/grade sheets/consolidated mark sheets
Should be graduated within 2 years.

3. English Language Proficiency (mandatory)

IELTS: Overall score of 6, with a minimum of 5 in each module

OET: Minimum grade of C in each module

TOEFL: Overall score of 64, with a minimum of 4 in Listening and Reading, and 14 in Speaking and Writing

PTE: Overall score of 50, with a minimum of 36 in each module

C1 test: Overall score of 169, with a minimum of 154 in each module

4. Financial Support

Should have 3,00,000 lakh amount in your/ parents/ spouse/ sibilings/ uncle/ aunt account with 3 months maturity is mandatory / or can use personal loan / gold loan

5. Police Clearance Certificate

Police clearance certificate from places where you have spent a total of 12 months or more
