How to Draw a Zentangle Gem - Inktober Day 4

Day 4 on the unofficial Inktober Zentangle Prompts list is "gem". I've tried coloring a Zentangle gem a couple of times now, and I can say unequivocally that paper makes all the difference. Because my sketchbook paper doesn't have much tooth, blending the colors was a little more difficult than I had anticipated.

I also grabbed the Helix circle maker tool to help me set up a Zendala string without having to fuss a lot over the measurements. Patterns I featured today were Mooka, Flux, and Doodah.
