Safety Tips:
If the gate is closed, do not go. It’s closed for a reason.
Never visit during winter swell months (rough seas, high surf).
Bring proper footwear for the muddy trail and slippery rocks.
Stay well back from the edge of the lava rocks; rogue waves are unpredictable and deadly.
Do not swim if there is any wave action at all.
