Claudine Longet was born in Paris during the early 1940s. Though both of her parents were in the medical field, she expressed interest in performing from a young age. By the age of 17, Claudine was a professional cabaret dancer. This job would see the young teenager whisked away to Las Vegas, where she fell in love with American pop-music legend Andy Williams. It was on The Andy Williams Show that Claudine first caught the attention of the audience.

After her breakout work on her husband’s variety series, Claudine was offered a deal with A&M Records. This record contract led to Claudine becoming a fairly big deal in the world of popular music, and she was also gaining attention as a television actress around the same time. Sadly, things would come to an end for Claudine during the 1960s, when murder charges changed the way the public perceived her.
