Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj has expressed serious concern over the continuously declining Sikh population, calling it a major challenge for the community. He appealed to Sikh families to think about having minimum 3 or more children to ensure the strength of the Panth in future.

Meanwhile, in a sensitive incident at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib, Punjab Police has arrested a youth from Ghaziabad for allegedly violating the Maryada of the holy Sarovar. CCTV footage revealed that the youth performed wuzu in the Sarovar and left without paying obeisance, leading to widespread outrage.

On the security front, a suspected RDX blast near Sirhind railway line has raised serious concerns. Though officials claim the intensity was low, political reactions have started pouring in, questioning Punjab Government’s handling of law and order.

Additionally, Panthic organisations have announced a programme to commemorate 40 years of the historic Sarbat Khalsa of 26 January 1986, where key issues related to Panthic struggle and future direction will be discussed.
