I first came across DIYs using diffraction grating film on TikTok. This included "magic" resin molds which create pieces with iridescence that don't require glitter or paint. Then I saw several videos on YouTube featuring holographic chocolate. So I decided to test out everything that can be poured into a mold in liquid form. The results were quite hit and miss but I did get a few very aesthetic pieces out of it. I'm surprised there aren't more commercially available products that use this effect, or people who sell magic molds. From my research, there are only a few very small indie sellers who offer diffraction resin molds. I'd love to try making my own molds for an upcoming video so there isn't an issue of the diffraction film getting stuck.
