What you’ll learn:
Booms:
Check tip straightness, paint wear, pin/bushing wear, and look for fresh or cracked welds—all clues to how it was run and maintained.
Tires & Axle:
Uneven tire wear can point to alignment problems (tie rod, strut, front‑axle wear plates) or heavy road wear.
Cab Condition:
Mud on the floor, grease on the steering wheel or hydro handle, and seat rips/stains tell a story; a meticulous operator often means better maintenance, oil changes, greasing, and rinsing.
