Martin Radeck was a seventeenth century composer (c1623-1684) of the North German school, organist from 1660 at the Trinitatis Kirke in Copenhagen, and from 1676 also at the Helligåndskirke. This edition was produced by Maurizio Machella.
This recording was made on a Johannus Live III AGO organ, using the sample of the 1702 Schnitger Organ in Der Aa-kerk, Groningen. The sample sets can be heard from four positions: console, front of the church, centre of the church, rear of the church. This recording uses the rear of the church position, affording the most generous recording of the wonderful acoustic in this fine building.
