September 15, 1992: Gary DiSarcina was hit by a pitch from Eric Gunderson and quickly turned his back on Dave Valle, which led to the benches clearing (though it wasn’t shown). Later, after Reggie Williams’s at-bat, Luis Polonia was nearly hit and charged the mound, violently swinging his batting helmet at Gunderson. Both benches emptied again. After the brawl, both players were ejected; Polonia received a 3-game suspension, and Gunderson received a 4-game suspension.
