Fall Line Freeway (GA 540 East) - Sandersville, GA to Augusta, GA

Описание: The final video in my Fall Line Freeway series following the route from Sandersville through Wrens and into Augusta ending at I-520.

The Fall Line Freeway is a long distance corridor across the central portion of Georgia connecting Columbus with Augusta while passing through Macon. Though it is named as a freeway, the only true limited access portions of the road are the J.R. Allen Pkwy in Columbus & the segment cosigned with I-75 from Byron to I-16 in Macon; otherwise, the road is just a piecing together of existing roadways upgraded to divided highways to facilitate fast movement between Columbus and Augusta and giving truckers the option to not have to pass through Atlanta. The highway was officially dedicated in September 2018 and is signed as State Route 540 for its entire length.
