In the first of this series follow along as I paint some metal 28mm French Cuirassiers from Perry Miniatures. The intended unit is the 5/13e Cuirassiers for the 1813 Campaign.
In this video I go through the first stage of painting (over a black primer), consisting of blocking in the base colours to the miniature preparatory to the layers/highlights to come. I talk about some of my thoughts and processes and a few of the unit specific considerations prior to and during painting.
