August 1939: MGM releases "The Wizard of Oz" across the country in three places on three dates - at Wisconsin on 11th, in Hollywood on 15th and at Loew's Capitol Theatre in NYC on 17th.
Started this back in 2019 for the 80th Anniversary, depicting a "What-If" version of the Climax and bringing to life the abandoned concept of the Rainbow Bridge from an earlier script of the 1939 film - and of course I wasn't going to ignore the deleted "Ding-Dong! Triumphal Emerald City" scene.
Edited with iMovie, with my own illustrations and plenty of help from talented Oz fans combined with the classic music.
If I had been able to do this with Final Cut Pro, then it would be perfect!
