Описание: Kennecott mines are located just outside of McCarthy, AK. It is a very scenic, 8 hour drive, from Anchorage. This adventure took several days to complete. We saw some amazing Alaskan countryside, camped in some unique locations and ate some fantastic food in camp. This video highlights the last 60 miles of picturesque gravel road to McCarthy, AK, a bridge that was built in 1910, cooking quiche in a dutch oven, camping, a hike beyond Kennecott and the towns of McCarthy and Kennecott.
