Russian ally Belarus has deployed tank units to the Ukrainian border, according to an announcement from the Belarus Defense Ministry. The statement revealed that parts of its mechanized forces were placed on alert and preparations were underway to send tanks and other vehicles by rail to the Gomel and Mozyr regions.
