Welcome to the newest addition at our College Hill campus and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Cincinnati Children's has renovated a unit at our College Hill Campus so we can provide psychiatric inpatient care to more children and adolescents.

The medical center now has 92 inpatient psychiatry beds -- making us a leader in this service both locally and nationally.

We worked with patients and families to make this a safe place for healing. It has a cheerful, home-like feel, and seven rooms -- some private and some double -- designed especially for teens.

Artwork created by former patients is framed in the hallways, and inside the unit, inspirational messages dot the walls. Each patient room has a chalkboard that offers an outlet for personal and creative expression. Skyscapes on the ceiling help create an open feel, bringing the outside in.

We're looking at this new space as a pilot for what's possible. We believe that a safe and positive environment is important to the healing process. We hope that this beautiful new physical space will provide our young patients with a place where they can heal with a sense of optimism and hope for a brighter future.
