Ah, if only all our problems were so easily solved......
Bananas have seemingly mystical powers and they have the ability to soothe the angriest batty as well as providing comfort for even badly injured flying-foxes.
Apart from being a daily staple for our bats in care, bananas are a universal favourite that are rarely refused with nectar dripping banana flowers being an especially prized gem when we can source them.
Due to their hefty fibre content we don't initially feed bananas to our orphans and we kick start the weaning process with well steamed apple or pear.
