Dear Friends
This Sunday we celebrate the Eucharist with music from Haydn sung by the Bach Choir of Lausanne. It is an occasion to remember the contribution of this great musician and enjoy a different kind of service.
Haydn is an interesting character who wrote a lot of music for the Church. He was also a man of faith and dedicated his works to God, and often turned to God whenever he felt difficulties in writing new pieces.
We may not be able to produce beautiful music, but we can all work in the service of God and others. Anything and everything we do, however small, can be part of our discipleship. May God inspire you to do the best you can, whatever that might be and in whatever place he calls you to serve.
