-The life of God's people is to be characterized by offering of sacrifice of thanksgiving to God
-True believers should constantly remember to thank God for what he has done, by; making sure thanksgiving accompanies their request, by giving offerings to accompany their prayers
(psalms 30:12, psalms 92:1-4)
-We should be grateful in season and out of season
-Jesus at this time was heading to Jerusalem for his crucifixion, his three-and-a-half-year ministry was coming to an end, every word he spoke at this time was referencing his crucifixion and preparing for his departure
-Leprosy was a contagious disease that affects the skin, causing discoloration and lumps on the skin and in severe cases deformation
-people who had leprosy had to be ostracized from others
