Complete Guide to CA CPT Foundation 2022

Описание: CA Foundation formerly CA CPT (Common proficiency test) is the basic exam for the candidates who aspire to take up their career as a Chartered Accountant. It is a tough exam to clear yet, a good proportion clears them every year.

The exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in compliance with the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988. The foundation exam tests the candidate’s basic knowledge in commerce and hence from 2012 ICAI exempted Graduates, Post Graduates and the students having equivalent degrees. Graduates, Post Graduates and the students having equivalent degrees.

The exams are held twice a year in June and December. There is no maximum attempts and no expiration for the score. This is an advantage where the candidate clearing CPT once can use the score at any point to continue his/her career as CA by attempting IPCC/Final. A candidate can register for the examination in his 10th or SSLC but can attempt the exam only after completion of his 10+2 or 2nd year of pre-university. Also, if the candidate fails the CPT for more than three years he/she has to renew the registration of the common proficiency course.
