The Schonauer twins just published a pictorial history of Burbank. Emmy-award winning journalist Peter Musurlian visits with them (and others) who are keeping the memory of Burbank's first 100 years alive.
In addtion to his 2012 Los Angeles Area Emmy, for his 30-minute documentary on "Burbank's African Sister City," Musurlian has received seven Emmy nominations and has won 16 RTNA Golden Mikes, awarded by the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California...in categories such as producing, reporting, videography, and editing.
Since the RTNA began annually awarding Golden Mikes [during the Truman Administration], no other SoCal Division B television journalist has won more Golden Mikes that Musurlian.
