Our dear comic, Deepak Mohan was planning to get married on September 10th at Kochi, to be followed by a reception on September 11th at Trivandrum. Everything was planned and paid for until the marriage broke off in February. He had to pay the full amount for booking of the reception hall which is non-refundable.
On September 11th at Trivandrum Club where the reception was supposed to take place, Deepak along with his comic friends John Joe, Aneez M Latheef, and Mahadevan A R, did a Malayalam standup comedy show: “Saadhanam Kaiyilund” which turned out to be the biggest standup comedy event in Kerala pulling in a crowd of 500+.
This is his friends digging fun at him, and him being a sport and serving them back! What are friends for, eh?
