The World of Souls

Many religions speak of a world of souls, suggesting that it may exist in many layers and levels.
According to Tibetan Buddhist thought on reincarnation, we are born into this life according to the karma of a past one, and the depth of our practice in this life shapes the next.

Why I Came into This World

From this perspective, our existence is not simply the result of human love.
Rather, each of us can be seen as a unique soul, returning from somewhere beyond this world with a longing to grow into a more evolved, more refined being.
Just as with all natural principles, true evolution is possible only when spirit and body—mind and flesh—exist together.

The Soul Chooses Its Parents

To receive a new body, the soul makes a deep and earnest vow and chooses parents that align precisely with its own karma.
In this sense, it is the soul itself that chooses its parents and enters this world through them.

Why Self-Reflection Is Necessary
Yet in the joy of gaining new life in the mother’s womb, the soul forgets the journey that brought it here.
That is why self-reflection is essential—to remember why we came into this world in the first place.
There may be many paths of growth, but each person evolves only as far as their own awareness allows.

A Life Without Signposts
Life is a traveler’s road with no signposts.
That is why we need mentors and the help of others along the way.
Even so, the guidance we receive reaches us only to the extent of our own awareness.

A True Mentor: One Who Knows the Right Time
A true mentor becomes a signpost on an unknown road—someone who points out obstacles ahead and offers hope and courage.
Above all, a true mentor understands timing: knowing when to draw inward,
when to hold one’s ground, and when to step forward and let one’s purpose unfold.
