The Value of Doula Care and the Doula Support Foundation

We are beyond grateful to all those who took time out of their busy lives to help us make this video a reality (credits below). Our goal in making this video is to provide information about what a Birth Doula is, how Doula support can be an invaluable part of one's birth team, what some of the evidence supporting Doula care is, and then to share some testimonials from Doula clients, and introduce the Doula Support Foundation.

The Doula Support Foundation (DSF) is a new nonprofit made up of a team of certified Birth Doulas, Postpartum Doulas, and Birth & Bereavement Doulas in the Kingston, Ontario (Canada) area. We aim to make caring and inclusive pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum services and education accessible to low-income families and the broader community. Our most pressing goal is to raise awareness about Doula care and to ensure that everyone who wants Doula support is able to access it.
