Lining Washing and Drying Method
In this video, we show the proper method for washing and drying garment lining fabric.
First, separate the lining fabric from other materials to avoid color transfer or damage. Check the fabric type and care label before washing.
Wash the lining gently using clean water and a mild detergent. Hand washing is recommended, especially for delicate linings. If using a washing machine, select a gentle or delicate cycle and avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
After washing, rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue. Do not twist or wring the fabric, as this can damage the lining.
For drying, gently squeeze out excess water and hang the lining in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause fading or shrinkage. Allow the fabric to air dry completely.
Once dry, lightly iron at a low temperature if needed, using a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.
This method helps maintain the quality, shape, and durability of the lining fabric.
