The 350 small block is going back in our 1970 C10 Shop truck this week! Last week you saw us transform the red Chevy into the two tone green machine that it is today. And with the cab and bed back on the frame, it's time to start getting the rest of our bagged C10 shop truck put back together.
So this week we're getting our GSI front crossmember and bag mounts bolted in to the C10 so that we can reinstall our 350 small block.
That small block isn't going to be left untouched though. We're refreshing this motor will all new gaskets, a new oil pan, new valve covers, and a clean paint job. We're not diving too deep into this 350 though, since it all ready an upgraded cam, lifters, and pushrods!
We're also rebuilding our rear end with a new diff and gears, along with a set of big ol' Wildwood brakes to get the stopping power we're looking for!
Then finally, we're installing our transmission and measuring for our custom two piece driveshaft!
