Lesser Black-Backed Gulls and their young

Описание: There used to be only a few Lesser Black-Backed Gulls on the lake (of whom the notorious pigeon eater was one) but recently the number has gone up, and there are about 20 young ones with them. It seems that they have set up a breeding colony in central London, just as the Herring Gulls have done on office roofs in Paddington. The young gulls are begging their parents to feed them, to no effect as they are considered old enough to find their own food.
