No trip to Bakewell would be complete without a bite of its namesake pudding, so that’s where we start.
A windy day in Bakewell Derbyshire Dales meant no flying for the drone, but the journey carried on, beginning with a quiet visit to the old church, where time lingers in the stone and silence. From there, I wandered the town in search of the traditional pudding shop, letting the streets guide me.
Along the way, I’m also learning to break the silence in other ways, pushing myself to speak a little more on camera and even to strike up the odd conversation with a stranger. .
