We had the most amazing 2 night stay at Chai Lai Orchid in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. This was probably top experience of my life so far. Elephants are the most amazing animals in my humble opinion, and they were just all over the place here. The price was also reasonable. We stayed at Elephant Hills in Khao Sok and although that was a more luxurious experience, everything was just so organic here at Chai Lai. Elephants really were the star of the show here at Chai Lai Orchid, with their elephant happy hour and elephant room service. It is unlike anything we have ever experienced in our lifetimes. This whole experience brought about a certain sense of euphoria for me, and creating this vlog made me so emotional because I miss this place and the elephants so much, especially Bamboo (the baby elephant). Also shoutout to Atid and his son/guide-in-training, Bryan, for being wonderful guides who made the Jungle Expedition excursion so unforgettable.
We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.
