2023 Freedom 100 is a 63 mile race on the Missouri River from the De Bourgmont Access on the Lamine River to Jefferson City, MO. The race is sponsored and staged by Midwest Paddle Racing. Many of the participants are gearing up for the MR 340, a 340 mile non-stop race from Kansas City to St. Charles, MO. Much of the paddling portion of the video is double speed to reduce overall video length. At no time is the video sped up more than 2x. 😉
My objective is to include as many race participants in the video as possible and give paddlers and their friends a feel for what it is like to be out there on the Missouri River. I hope you enjoy. :)
