After servicing this set it the previous video, it was time for Mr Chippie to test it. Remember the 4W stated on the box these came in refers to input power & not output power, which is around 1.5W.
Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route & stopped at the 5-mile point for a low power test (400mW). Despite the radio being 1.5W output, it performed very well throughout.
Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio fitted in the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' flag on this video.
