Vid is just so fun to draw. not just Vylet Pony’s music but her art in general is a big inspiration for my art! i definitely want to make more animations, maybe not so long, about her other characters and stuff. i don’t know much of the lore yet (i am slowly working through the Vylet Pony wiki), but her songs give me such clear images that I just have to animate NOW
Each time I listened to this song, I imagined something kinda like this. The Real Life Ponies were just a fun little addition. For this animation, I just plucked some of my favorite G4s off the shelf and arranged them inside a dark box, then I took pictures and edited them together to make some really basic low-frame-rate animation. I think it’s adorable that the ponies from the show would be Vid’s audience :3
(also, i’m sorry if this is wrong or out of character, i always am worried when i draw other people’s characters)
