This International Day of Older People, we’re celebrating the incredible work of the Academic Centre for Healthy Ageing (ACHA).
Based at Whipps Cross Hospital, the ACHA team are working tirelessly to improve health ageing in East London through research, education and work within the community.
ACHA connects research with frontline care, focusing on:
🧠 Mental health and cognition
💪 Recovery after trauma and illness
🧓 Preventing frailty and managing long-term conditions
Together, we can support people in East London to live better, for longer. 💜
