Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his plans to quit captaincy from the One Day and 20-20 Formats of Indian Cricket. The former Indian cricket team captain has handed over the reins for all 3 formats of the Indian Cricket team to test Captain Virat Kohli.
The surprise announcement was made public by the official BCCI twitter account. MS Dhoni will be available for the selection for the One Day and T20 I series against England and the same has been conveyed to the Senior Selection Committee.
He was leading the Indian team in ODIs and T20 ever since he retired from Tests on December 30, 2016.
