CULINARY AMBASSADORS OF THE YEAR - 2016 Taste of Nova Scotia Awards
Inspired initially by a fortuitous and timely inflight magazine article on distilling – Pierre & Lynne decided to start their own business in Lunenburg in 2009 – based on the following key principles:
To create products from scratch and to learn all the aspects of the business: to control the fermentation, the distillations, the barrel aging and infusing.
To source all raw ingredients in Nova Scotia, to take advantage of the bountiful agricultural output of this province.
To maximize the number of direct and indirect jobs that could be created. Firmly believing that “Made in Nova Scotia = Jobs in Nova Scotia.”
Their passion, drive and innovation is contagious. Together they have created a local-inspired, artisanal business that celebrates the local community and Nova Scotia - while sharing our passion and local products with the world.
