Today I undertake the daunting, yet satisfying process of converting an electric airsoft replica to a Daytona / TNK which is a high pressure air powered recoil replica.
What makes these replica amazing is the sense of realism, they feature a functional heavy duty bolt which produces an amazing sense of recoil. They are powered by an external air supply and operate at 120psi which pushes the BBs out at around 400 feet per second.
I take you through the whole process of gutting the AEG and then installing the Daytona kit. It is not easy but it's very possible. If you watch to the end of the video you will have a much better idea of the process.
I apologize for some of the poor camera work in the middle of the video I was a bit frustrated and was more focused on getting the replica assembled then shooting a quality instructional video but the bit in the middle is the simplest part of the process and is somewhat self explanatory.
The donor replica I am using is an Echo1 SA-58 which I purchased at GI Tactical http://www.gitactical.com/product_inf...
