10 years ago, Kasamatsu was held together by a single authority—the director. Their role was to contain Umamusume activity within reserved areas under constant oversight. When the director was assassinated, the system didn’t collapse overnight, but the absence of limits quietly reshaped everything.

Into that vacuum stepped the Golds, an influential Umamusume family who eased into control under the guise of protection and stability. Over time, guidance turned into ownership, and their influence spread beyond families and into institutions meant to enforce order.

Spicas was the first group to resist. Rather than confront them directly, the Golds responded with replacement. Spicas became the testing ground for cloning—real members sidelined as replicas took their place. Some complied, others vanished, and a few were quietly detained. The group continued to exist in name, but not in autonomy.

Canopus soon followed the same fate. Some stayed, others escaped. Among them was Twin Turbo, whose departure would later drive Inari One to leave Kasamatsu for Tokyo. By then, cloning had moved from experiment to policy. Cheap, chibi-scale clones were deployed openly, while more accurate versions were kept hidden due to cost.

As cloning became normalized, resistance regrouped. Super Creek broke away to form the Creeks, also known as the Goo Creeks. Alongside Oguri Cap, Tamamo Cross, and Inari One, the four became known as the Heisei Fours.

Their goal was never to seize control, but to dismantle it—to erase the clone networks, expose the Golds’ influence, and return agency to Umamusume reduced to assets.
