Chris Smith, (R-NJ), who co-chairs the Congressional-Executive Commission on China, discussed with NTD's Steve Lance, Hong Kong's sentencing of British Hong Kong businessman Jimmy Lai to 20 years in prison, in what is being called the harshest sentence to be handed down under the new National Security Law. Rep. Smith also discussed the implications for Hong Kong and how the U.S. should respond.
