BROWN RICE in the INSTANT POT // WFPB Recipe: IP Brown Rice

Since beginning to use my Instant Pot, I've realized written cook times aren't exactly accurate to how long something ACTUALLY takes to cook in an IP... especially when pressure cooking, as it takes a while for the pot to come to pressure. ⏱️ Therefore, I wanted to know how long does it really take to cook brown rice in the instant pot? Is it faster than cooking it on the stove? And what are the differences between brown rice and white rice? Let's find out! 😄

🌱 Basic recipe for Brown Rice in the Instant Pot:
▫️ Rinse the rice thoroughly
▫️ 1:1.5 rice to water ratio (i.e. 2 cups rice will require 3 cups water)
▫️ Multigrain button (or manual, high pressure) for 22 mins
▫️ Let the pressure come down naturally (wait for the pin to drop) or you can release the pressure early by turning the nozzle to the "venting" position
▫️ Enjoy!
