Hey guys! Here's update 1 on experimenting with going back to old school methods for my natural hair. For those of you who may not know, I was natural for almost 18 years before getting my first relaxer going away to college. When the natural hair movement first blew up, people started encouraging us to let go of "grease" because it was clogging our pores and drying out hair out. After doing research on my own about the actual behavior (and benefits) of petroleum, I decided.. like all things... to test it out for myself before I actually completely dismiss it.
