On Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, at approximately 5:40 PM, Authorities Responded to reports of a shooting on the highway 280 just south of trousdale drive in San Mateo County. Upon arrival, a victim was located in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds, to his arm and neck. The victim was transported code 3 to Stanford trauma center via ground ambulance. Authorities are still investigating the incident. Agencies that responded include the California Highway Patrol, Hillsborough Police, San Bruno Police, San Mateo County Sheriff, Central County Fire Department, and AMR San Mateo County EMS.
