Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a grand welcome at the White House, by US President Joe Biden, The leaders held one-on-one talks at the Oval Office to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual and global interests. Penn Masala, a South Asian a cappella group performed during PM Modi's ceremonial welcome at the White House. PM Modi arrived at the White House on Thursday to hold bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden. He arrived in Washington DC on Wednesday, after an eventful day in New York. He met the First Lady of the US, Jill Biden, and visited the National Science Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia. Later in the day, he met President Joe Biden, who hosted a private dinner for him at the White House. PM Modi and the Bidens exchanged gifts during the intimate dinner.
