On my family's recent trip around Coron, Philippines, we ended up spending several days at Discovery Coron, which is a private island resort. One of the most incredible things about this island is that they have a ton of very unique wildlife groups that are super abundant. Flying fox is one of those animals, but my favorite is definitely the monitor lizards. In the past, I've barely even caught a glimpse of these reptiles, but on this island, they're so common that you can barely take a step without encountering several of them.
In this episode, I'm showing you around the island and giving you a virtual encounter with what's one of my absolute favorite reptiles on the planet.
