This song is actually [I think] only the 2nd song I ever had published way back in the early 90s. After reading Psalm 30, "He's turned my mourning into dancing...", I thought "Someday I'm gonna write a song to that passage with a groove that will make people want to move." I can only imagine that's how King David's original song sounded.

I have always wanted to contribute worship songs to the Church that would usher in the joy of the Lord and this is one of my many attempts. Another fun fact, this song is probably the oldest of mine that I still continue to lead.

With all this said, this particular version is arranged, performed, and produced by my great friend, brother, and TWM team member, Jonte Moore. It highlights some of our great musician friends bringing their gifts to give glory to God. Special thanks to: Zach Rudulph, Kevin Chong, Andrew Carney and Dan Burdett.
