Based on true events, this wonderful movie tells us about the early years of the writer Christopher Isherwood (who published "A Single Man" in 1964), when he left England at the invitation of his friend Auden, to live in Berlin for the gay sex that abounds in the city. Christopher experienced sexual freedom that existed in Germany before World War 2, on which portray in his work, (the most famous "Goodbye to Berlin" 1939), was transformed into the musical "Cabaret".
