In this brand new Gear Unboxing, Demo, and Review video, I'll be showing off the COMICA CVM-VM20 Shotgun Mic, a great piece of gear for your studio.

The good folks at COMICA were kind enough to send me the CVM-VM20 in exchange for testing and my honest review. I'm glad they did.

This is my first experience using a shotgun-type mic, and I've found it to be so much more convenient than using my current lapel mic, which has a super-long cord and always limits my mobility. With this COMICA mic, I'm no longer limited by—or attached to—a clunky cable.

I haven't tested it for the entire duration listed on the product description (60+ hours), but from what time I have used it so far, the battery LED hasn't budged.

I also like the fact that this studio mic can be used while it's being charged. As such, I can leave it on my desk near my computer and always have it at the ready for live streaming or regular video creation for my YouTube videos.

One last thing I'll mention is that I love that COMICA has included not only all the accessories you need in their companion kit and carrying case, but they've included two low-cut filters so you don't have to worry about a lot of audio processing post-production. Super time saver, in my opinion!

From my experience so far, I highly recommend the products by COMICA. Everything they've sent me has been top-notch, and their customer support has been second to none. Super responsive and courteous to a fault. You can't go wrong with COMICA!
