The first time playing this stage it's impossible to stop Hanzo from killing Shingen, forcing you on Yukimura's top path. Yukimura is also the only one to get taken to the top path for failing the green mission objective. Normally, when a green mission appears it's important and clearing it means you get the better ending.
Since I'm playing XL, Tadakatsu is a character here rather than a generic and puts up more of a fight than usual. Even though things turn in Ieyasu's favor when Shingen dies, he still tries to retreat and if he does the stage ends prematurely, but in your victory.
