(No, this isn't an April Fools Joke...)Two weeks ago, I demonstrated an alignment issue that YX resolved by having me re-calibrate the machine from scratch. I recalibrated things, created a couple of videos of the calibration procedures, and am now trying to re-create a working job while also dealing with the pandemic here in the Bay Area. I'm only a little bit stressed! Today, I'm chasing down a placement bug that I can't explain - the machine tries to place components way off the OPCB at machine location (0,0)!
In this video I will walk through a complete panelized job setup from scratch, and illustrate each step along the way, including some rough spots in the software.
Consider this a "check my work" exercise, because at the end,I have no idea why it is placing D1 on top of feeder 50!
In addition, I illustrate the software's mishandling of Fiducial lines in the job file (you gotta have them, they corrupt the feeder assignments, and if you delete them, the software crashes.
I'm not going to voice-over the rest of the video, but I did put text notes in the timeline that describe whats happening.
